28-year-old Matt Movin’ is certainly living up to his moniker as his momentum has been nothing short of nonstop. He is making a definite impact and name for himself. I truly look forward to what the future holds in store for this young man.
There’s a slight crack in Matt Movins’ voice that makes him enjoyable to listen to along with a bouncy fast-paced yet melodic delivery at times almost reminiscent of an earlier Bone Thugs N Harmony that I have to say is a nice change of pace given the hip hop industry (as of late) has been seemingly congested with clones of every ‘new hot sound’ appearing left and right.
However, while having a unique sound and delivery is imperative to making a concrete statement, and though this is just as impressive as it is original it is still only just a piece of the pie. To truly be great an artist must not only possess but be well versed in their lyrical and linguistic abilities respectively as well.
